The AUN Website is divided into two principal sections namely, the AUN Courses and Country Archive sections. This Help page provides instructions on how to access and navigate in these two sections.
To access the Courses section, click on the Courses link found at the top of every file in the Country Archive section. (Note: Any word or phrase that is underlined is a link to another section of the page or another document or Website.)
A Menu bar on the left shows the different course titles. Click on any of them to change the course title. You can also see these course titles at the top of the Home page which is the first page you see whenever you access this Website.
Above every course information is a set of links to help you Search for particular words or phrases. In the box beside Search, type the word or phrase you want to locate in the Website. Then click on Go. You will then see a list of sections in the Website indicating where your chosen word or phrase is found. At the bottom of the list are other functions which will enable you to either hide the summaries showing the location of the text or sort the text entries by date.
Beside the Search box is another link called Advanced Search. Click on this and you can customize your search according to certain characteristics or properties called parameters.
Another link is called Feedback. Upon clicking this link, you will see an email form where you will be asked to type your name, email address and message you want to send. After typing the message, click on Send to forward the message to the school hosting the Website.
The last link is called Country Archive. In this section, you will obtain basic demographic and historical information about member countries of the ASEAN University Network. The Menu bar on the left indicates the country. Click on any of the countries to view the information you need.

In every AUN Course box is another set of links that will help you access the different parts of the syllabus. For example, if you click on the underlined word Readings, you can go directly to the reading list. To return to the set of links found at the top, scroll down the end of the section and look for the link called Back to the Top. Click on this to return to the menu of links. If some of the links in the menu are not underlined, this means that there are no entries for that section.
In some of the Reading lists, you will also note that certain names of authors or institutions have been underlined. This indicates that these names are linked to other documents or Websites outside of the AUN Website. In other syllabi, the URL addresses of Websites are also given and linked to the concerned site.

If you are already in the Country Archive section and you wish to go back to the AUN Courses, go to the top and look for the link called Courses. Click on the link to return to this section.

In the Welcome page, there is a link called About Us. This section gives the background of the AUN organization and shows a picture of the members of the Board of Trustees. On the picture, you can find out the name of the person by pointing your mouse to the picture. Wait for a few seconds and you will see a tooltip caption of the person's name.

If you want to go to the AUN Website, go to the top left corner of the page and look for the AUN logo or icon. Click on this and you will be brought outside of this Website to the AUN Website.

If at anytime you want to make a print-out of the Web page, go to the topmost Menu bar. Click on File and click on Print. You will be asked to select which part of the Website you want. If you click on "As laid out on the screen", you will have a copy of the entire screen lay-out. If you select "Only the selected frame", a specific part of the screen will be printed.

At present, this Website contains the core syllabi for learning about the ASEAN region. More interactive features such as discussion forums, chat rooms, quizzes, and archiving of lecture materials will be developed.
